The Role As Business Testing Officer, you will be in charge in overseeing all QA and UAT testing activities of Business Projects and manage overall test processes. Utilize automated testing and define test case strategy. Smooth implementation of business plans, system fixes and projects as well as day to day operations by providing support and assistance to QA/UAT testing for the Team, other Business Units and Vendor How you'll contribute Review project related documents using various project/testing supporting documents to ensure that actual results are based on the business requirements and will not expose the Bank for potential losses that may arise due to fraud or negligence. Assess if recommended work-around procedure is acceptable using user acceptance testing result to provide interim solution for branches to be able to serve clients. Understand the details of functional features of the applications and document manuals to improve test procedures if needed. Discuss system-related processes, functionalities, and activities using job description summary and user guides to be equipped with enough information to perform the task.Planning, Organizing and Execution Coordinate with the team and other business units to secure test results and signoff. Coordinates / Participates for the team on deployment (Go-Live) activities Coordinates with team and spearhead post production deployment sanity checking Executes proper documentation for the particular project as deemed necessary. Monitors and provides timely updates on the ongoing as well as proposed projects/initiatives that will affect the business. Utilize automated testing. Define test case strategy.. Recommends if there are any process improvement initiatives that will help address and/or improve underwriting processes especially on items related to system and process rationalization. Performs other tasks which may be assigned from time to time as deemed necessary by management. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce, Finance / Accountancy / Banking At least 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial, IT-Software, Process Design & Control, Quality Assurance Knowledge on MS Applications i.e. Word Docs and Excel. Knowledge on user acceptance testing, techniques and bank processes. Exposure to JIRA and Mobile Apps testing is a plus. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Planning and organization skills. Interpersonal skills. Problem-solving skills and keen attention to details. Teamwork skills. Analytical and critical thinking. Very good in time management. Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels of the organization. Able to provide solution on problems. Organized and well-planned. Can work under pressure. #LI-ST1 #LI-Hybrid
