We are local at heart, yet world-class in capability.About the RoleAs our Business Development Manager in our Payroll business, you’ll represent Datacom to a broad range of commercial and enterprise customers, promoting service offerings and developing new business opportunities. Key to success is your ability to be innovative and creative in ensuring targets are met or exceeded by selling Datapay and its associated service offerings.What you’ll bring Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Outstanding negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win/win situations for all parties. Excellent customer relationship building and management skills, with the ability to deal with customers at all levels and translate their needs into a complete solution Experience working in a sector where sales are achieved through a formal RFI, RFP process Demonstratable SaaS sales track record Highly desirable is an understanding of payroll, and insight of WFM and HCM ecosystems Responsibilities Developing a market sector by generating sales leads for organisational products, services or solutions. This may be done when the product, service or solution is still in the pipeline Identifying opportunities for business improvement and strategic new business opportunities. Generating leads across various market sectors to gain new business for Datacom Generating term sheets and new business/financial models, and drafting and negotiating contracts Managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, interacting with a diverse set of partners and prospective partners. Working with internal teams to help develop new products, services, or solutions matching market or client specific needs. Growing pipeline through working with established referral partners Assessing potential partners, performing competitive research, evaluating proposed deals / partnerships, and analysing and developing business cases for new business targets.
