Isn’t that beautiful?Position Purpose:Reporting to the Regional General Manager (Cosmetics), the Business Manager is responsible for LUXASIA portfolio of Cosmetics brands in the Malaysia market. This role entails overseeing the financial success (top and bottom line) of the assigned brands, including activities such as consumer engagement, community, sales and training, marketing, merchandising, events as well as retail operations.It is crucial that the Business Manager is as capable of developing strategy and vision as of translating this to execution and bringing it to life at trade. The priority is to enhance the execution with a complete OMNI approach in mind and the customer experience. This role offers a unique career progression opportunity, leading the team and fully owning the brand’s P&L.Key Responsibilities:Accountable for financial, commercial, branding, and people management aspects, which includes: Setting up and maintaining partnerships with principal brands and key clients. Evaluating competitive challenges and identifying opportunities for boosting sales and higher profits. Managing and enhancing KPIs for their distribution channels. Defining product selection strategy, assortment, pricing and 360 marketing. Providing leadership, guidance and management to all team members including cross functional support teams. Leading activities associated with new stores and markets launches. Developing and implementing plans for Marketing and Sales Contributing to financial plans and monitoring full P&L budgets. Requirements Retail marketing experience (in luxury) is essential. Experience in beauty retail, color cosmetics specifically would be a strong advantage.
