Job Summary: The role of is to lead all aspects of Integration &Continuous Improvement Team project activities and priorities, and to promote culture of continuous improvement across fulfillment centers (FC). Working with FC operations and other teams to build standard, improve operation efficiency, and reduce costs. Majority of job will be carried out through deep dive analysis from the floor and comprehensive understanding and overall insight of processes including preceding and following one. Mandatory Qualifications: Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving skills & detail oriented Strong competency with spreadsheet, and database software Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization with minimum supervision Able to effectively manage and implement changes in a team-based culture Able to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time, on budget and to the complete satisfaction of internal business partners 5+ years of experience in FC/warehouse operations, supply chain and logistics Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) Previous experience in ecommerce, warehouse operations, supply chain and logistics would be an asset Major Responsibilities: Investigate and recommend opportunities to further improve FCs capacity, throughput, labour & costs. Determine, with the assistance of the business partners, the projects and priorities in FCs Manage all aspects of project scheduling and analytical work in order to optimize FC operations. Develop standard operating procedure, Process Audit, and process flow Own and manage CFS 5S and process program Develop & perform Cost-To-Benefits analysis Liaise with the FC operations team ensuring seamless process/equipment implementation and training of new initiatives. Project management: Develop, manage and implement multiple projects within timelines, budget and to customer satisfaction. Provide support, training and feedback to FC operations on engineering standards related issues. Provide optimum solutions for facility layouts, including product layout and slotting analysis Lead the development of appropriate site quality metrics (KPI), and systems to collect data, analyze and report. Understand and conceptualize cross-functional business processes, and effectively apply process analysis techniques and tools Use both formal and informal channels to obtain information, build support and accomplish tasks Education: University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or Computer Science 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Process Engineering and/or other logistics positions within a distribution and logistics environment.
