Our Carrier Partnerships Manager of EMEA will define, foster, and maintain strategic relationships and initiatives with Telesign’s EMEA messaging and omnichannel suppliers. This person will serve as a critical subject-matter expert on emerging trends, technology, and compliance requirements in the messaging space across the region. While the primary focus for this role will be maintaining strategic partnerships, this person will also assist with key initiatives and projects related to corporate strategy, operations, and product design. About the Role This role is a critical position supporting the development of Telesign’s EMEA Global Connectivity presence. Our commitment to ensuring individual career objectives align with the company’s growth strategy means this position will focus on future-proofing messaging quality across the EMEA region, specializing in emerging messaging trends. This role will offer opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally across the organization, supporting product, engineering, marketing, sales, finance, and legal teams as we evaluate, explore, and execute strategic partnership opportunities. This person will help execute Telesign’s overall vendor partnership strategy in EMEA. After understanding the defined strategy, this individual will build key relationships with identified partners, including negotiating, executing, and managing the partnership relationships. Key responsibilities Maintaining high-profile relationships with strategic partners, including mobile operators, direct connection aggregators, working groups, and industry peers. Understand the interconnected messaging landscape across the EMEA markets, identify strategic opportunities and threats, and identify net-new or underleveraged resources. Escalation point for all service issues with appropriate contact our vendor’s side. Daily engagement on negotiations for better commercial terms and quality improvement, in line with business needs and strategy. Execute on the strategy of when to on/off-board suppliers to reduce the cost of sales and improve Telesign’s competitive cost structure. Awareness and documentation of all particularities for WW countries with focus on EMEA region, around our service specifics, commercial and regulatory changes. Deep understanding of vendor agreements, unit costing, and ability to work with Legal, FP&A and Sales teams. Publicly demonstrate domain expertise and represent Telesign in working groups and industry events. Ensuring documentation is continually maintained and up to date, which is essential to the success of our Global Connectivity unit. Essential Requirements 1-2 years experience working in working in the messaging industry, prefferably with focus on EMEA market. Self-organized and proactive approach with excellent communication skills. Additional foreign language knowledge is a plus. Very strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with high attention to details, comfortable with describing the methodology and outcomes to senior team members. Industry experience, capable of fostering deep relationships, and the ability to navigate the complex A2P messaging landscape with a focus on the EMEA region. Strong presentation skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and financial analytics is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Passion for technology, ability to learn fast and understand dynamic market changes and trends. Preferred Qualifications Technical savvy and experience with APIs are a plus.
