Taking the time to build strong relationships, we deliver a positive impact on the world About the Quantium & Woolworths Group partnership (wiq): Following a long standing partnership, Quantium became part of Woolworths Group in 2021. wiq is a new business unit bringing together the best of Woolworths and Quantium to unlock the power of data to reimagine retail. We’re building a world-class retail analytics capability which is deployed across every part of the Woolworths ecosystem. We also commercialise these capabilities by partnering with retailers and FMCG businesses across ANZ, Europe and North America. The vertical operates a broad suite of commercialised B2B analytical products designed specifically for retailers and FMCGs (supplier partners). These products enable retailers and FMCGs to develop a better joint understanding of customer and business trends, leading to better customer and business outcomes. Role summary: Reporting to the Quantium Group Executive, Retail and Consumer (Woolworths Chief Analytics Officer) the CPO will be fully accountable for the commercial design of products across our retail and consumer verticals globally, aligning to the wiq business product roadmap. In addition to leading and owning the target market identification, prioritisation and product roadmap, the role will collaborate with our market teams to define pricing, portfolio bundling and sales and marketing strategies. You will lead a team of specialists across Product Management and Pricing to design and implement effective commercial frameworks, ensuring alignment of goals and successful financial outcomes for our product portfolio with the market team. The CPO will lead portfolio investment decisions that shape the profile of products in to the future; balancing requirements and opportunities across all use cases, user personas and markets. For Woolworths, you will work with the Woolworths Data Sharing Council to shape the insights sharing strategy to maximise the benefits of collaboration with supplier partners. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Partnering with leaders across the Retail and FMCG verticals to develop the product portfolio strategy across all markets, enabling business unit strategy and longer term global revenue growth ambitionsLeading a team of Product Management and Pricing specialists to develop and implement product pricing and bundling frameworks for all products in each regionRealising revenue targets of commercialised products globally, in joint accountability with market commercial teamsLeading the product portfolio road map investment and prioritisation process, balancing the needs of short and longer-term commercialised product opportunities across marketsIn collaboration with the market teams, developing and leading the execution of the go-to-market strategy for new and existing productsSupporting and collaborating with our global customers on new product developmentBeing a thought leader on Commercial Product Management within Quantium and be the ‘go to’ expert for retail products in the Australian market Experience and education required: An accomplished Product Strategy executive with 10+ years experience within product led organisationsProven capabilities in designing and implementing frameworks for commercialised products and servicesA creative thought-leader that is well connected across the product communityA deep understanding of the Retail and FMCG sectors across both the Australian and global marketsDemonstrable experience operating and collaborating in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with a strong "influence without authority" skillsetExperience working in an Agile environment (desired)Experience of delivering world class products at scale (desired)Strategy consulting or in-house strategy experience (desired)Degree qualified; postgraduate qualifications highly valued (desired) Quantium are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
