Description MediaMonks is looking for a Data and Insights Analyst to join our team and help drive initiatives across new business and our stable of clients. In this position you will drive qualitative and quantitative research, conduct trend and insight desk research, manage relationships with external research agencies, and develop high quality, unique insights to inform growth strategies and new business pitches. In this position, you’ll connect the (data) dots to come up with clear client-friendly narratives of opportunities, hypotheses, issues, etc. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for uncovering insights in new business pitches, as well as planning and implementing learning programs for existing clients, monitoring results and finding ways of optimizing marketing efforts from a social media point of view. You will also be working hand in hand with the influencer team to build solid recommendations and reporting to inform their decision making. This is a role where you’ll partner with Client and Growth Teams from all over the world, as well as with strategies from a wide range of disciplines and categories. In this role you will: Support research design and planning: Assist in defining research objectives, scope, and methodology, contributing to the development of customized research plans that address client needs and align with project goals. Demonstrate the capability to manage and execute selected research projects independently, while still adhering to the agency's research standards and client expectations. Conduct primary and secondary research: Gather data through various research methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and desk research, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data collection and analysis. Analyze data and contribute to insights development: Identify patterns and trends in both quantitative and qualitative data, working towards actionable insights that inform creative strategies. Prepare research deliverables and participate in meetings: Assist in creating research reports, presentations, and other client deliverables, while actively participating in client and internal team meetings to provide updates on research progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support project execution: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, contributing to the successful delivery of research findings and insights. Take responsibility for independently managing and delivering selected research projects, showcasing the ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders. Assist in conducting social listening, brand audits, and content analysis for existing and prospective clients, using relevant tools and methodologies to contribute to the development of insights and creative strategies. Assist in defining KPIs, measurement frameworks, and conducting post-campaign analysis: Collaborate with internal teams to help establish project KPIs and measurement frameworks, supporting the tracking and evaluation of campaign performance. Contribute to post-campaign analysis, assisting in the preparation of comprehensive reports and insights to inform future projects. Resourcefulness in secondary desktop research and trend-spotting is a major plus: Show proficiency in conducting secondary desktop research and the ability to spot emerging trends that can contribute to the development of insights and creative strategies for client projects. Support audience profiling and segmentation: Assist in developing audience profiles and segmentation strategies through various research methodologies, contributing to targeted and relevant creative approaches for client projects. Familiarity with research types for pitches: Be acquainted with a range of research approaches relevant to creative agency pitches, such as brand audits, competitive analysis, topical analysis, market assessment, consumer insights, and trend identification. Provide ad hoc Digital Marketing support & expertise across different social media campaigns: from KPI setting, to media planning, execution of social advertising campaigns, measurements/analytics of influencers, channel optimization, and reporting (Training will be provided) Requirements 4+ years’ experience operating in a Strategy / Research / Insights function, ideally within a digital agency environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Experience in explaining the technical details of analytics in a non-technical way to people outside the disciplines. Experience working with global accounts. Strategic thinking with strong knowledge of digital marketing. Strong customer journey planning across digital and offline channels. Understanding of modern online analytical techniques. High-level numeracy and analysis skills. Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization; Work with distributed teams in multiple time zones. Genuine interest in learning about influencer marketing is a plus Technical requirements: Experience building audience segments in GlobalWebIndex (GWI) Experience working with Social Listening, Analytics and trend spotting tools: Experience with Meltwater and / or Brandwatch is a plus TrendPop, CreatorIQ and TikTok Marketplace Experience working with Campaign Operations teams using Adobe Campaign or similar. Website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst). Social analytics tools (e.g., Sysomos, Radian 6). Data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau). Google Suite, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube Analytics, SQL, Data Studio, Social Listening Tools and Social Analytics tools.
