We are searching for a dedicated Financial Analyst to assist in financial reporting and modelling within our FP&A team of 6 people. Your roleYou will be part of the FP&A team in the global finance department and be responsible for further developing our financial models for both financial forecasting and management reporting. Within your role you will work closely together with our Finance Business Partners to support the FP&A team in delivering insights to Global and cluster management. You will meet and build relationships with key stakeholders in our business. Here you will help them in the fight against food waste, improving their impact by maintaining management reports and ensuring reliable financial models. The main responsibilities cover Month-end process: Assist in our month-end process by preparing our financial models in Excel, Google slides and Power BI Financial reporting: Take ownership of further developing and maintaining our actuals model and reports to support the highest level of decision-making Financial forecasting: Support the financial forecasting process by maintaining and developing the financial forecasting model to support our markets in financial planning Business Intelligence ownership: Take ownership of maintaining and developing our Power BI solution in close collaboration with Data & Analytics to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial reporting and analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements in data visualisation and reporting capabilities. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial modelling and reporting processes, tools, and methodologies. Streamline and automate models and reports to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Ad-hoc data analysis: When necessary support the FP&A team in combining volume and financial data to perform analysis on a given business topic that requires a deeper understanding Requirements We are seeking a technically skilled and driven Financial Analyst with a strong analytical mindset to take ownership of financial reporting and modelling. As a financial analyst, you will be responsible for developing our sophisticated financial models and ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting to support financial planning and decision-making processes. Your financial and technical acumen play a vital role in a successful month-end close, driving accurate forecasts, optimising profitability, and providing actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess: Master's degree in finance, financial mathematics, economics, or a related field Some experience as a Financial Analyst (could be a student position) or from a similar role Strong proficiency in financial modelling techniques and software (Excel and/or google sheets, and preferably also experience with VBA, DAX, R, SQL or similar coding language) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail Solid understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualisation and reporting Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and convincingly in an English-speaking organisation.
