Our commitment to helping anybody and everybody committed to realizing their own potential to grow.About You Nutrafol is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Brand Marketing team in a contract role through ~January 2024 with full-time (approx. 40/wk) hours. The role involves leading the Public Relations function and working alongside multiple stakeholders and partners, reporting into the VP of Brand Marketing. Responsibilities: Lead strategy and execution of Public Relations program while Director of Public Relations is on parental leave, with support of the Public Relations Manager and external PR agency partners Align with stakeholders and drive communications outreach strategy for campaigns that support marketable moments (i.e. product GTMs, brand campaigns, partnerships, reports/surveys) Act as a strategic communications advisor by keeping track of public attitudes, flagging possible consequences of prospective decisions, developing key messages and managing issues and crisis communications Participate in regular touch-bases with cross-functional leads and channel owners (i.e. social media, influencer, affiliate and product marketing) to assure consistency in communications across all external and owned comms Present and sell in PR ideas and programming to executives and leadership, provide updates and reporting on effectiveness and results Oversee key partnerships including strategic planning, ongoing relationship management and cross functional working groups/collaboration Act as day-to-day manager and mentor for Public Relations Manager and oversee management of external PR agency Update and build out PR strategy with the VP of Brand Marketing for 2024 Oversee PR budget Qualifications: 12+ years of public relations experience (in-house or agency) Prior experience in beauty, wellness and/or healthcare Proven track record of navigating and thriving in a quickly-changing environment Strong written, editing, verbal, and presentation skills Highly motivated with a bias for action & the ability to execute Compensation: This is a contract role with an hourly rate of $75-$100 USD/hour.
