We are seeking a GxP System Specialist who can join a dynamic Quality, Regulatory and Innovation team ready to make a big impact on the way we approach GxP Quality Systems. On normal workdays, this will include document management, eQMS workflow management, Quality Event QA review, Training Program management, Vendor Management, and Audit Management. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of GxP Optimization Services and aid in: Industrializing Clinical Development GxP work via process mapping and process improvement to carve out fit for purpose, work class processes and procedures. Partnering with Clinical Development leaders to capture training needs and build robust and comprehensive training content based on principles of adult learning. Creating a world-class QMS that fits the needs of a fast paced development environment in a clinical stage Biotechnology company. Location: Making Salt Lake City your home base is ideal, however, we will consider remote work for this position. We ask that remote employees commit to regular on-site visits for routine work and departmental events. The Team You’ll Join You will be joining a dynamic Regulatory, Quality and Innovation team, which includes Regulatory Policy & Strategy, Quality Strategy & Operations, and QMS Optimization. Reporting to the Director of QMS Optimization, you will bring computerized system expertise and creative ideas to the organization. The Experience You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in a life science field, or equivalent, with 5+ years in a clinical development role within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including 2+ years in a GCP Quality Assurance role Knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, including in-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Guidelines relating to clinical trial conduct. Experience in planning and conducting QA oversight activities in an outsourced environment using risk-based approaches Experience sourcing and onboarding new technologies and computerized systems within a Quality Management System, Regulatory Management System, Clinical Trial Management System, Regulatory Information Management System. Demonstrated ability to thrive, both strategically and tactically, in a multi-disciplinary environment using a first principles approach.
