At the heart of our collaborative culture are our values, which inform everything we do.If you love great content, understand the importance of local language and culture, and want to be part of a dynamic team, then this is the place for you.Job DescriptionThe IT & Technology Director will work closely with the Operations, Production and Executive Team to deliver an effective IT & Technology Strategy that facilitates a high-performing and fast growing global organisation, and focuses on automation and efficiency. The role will initially focus on bringing IT capabilities in house from a third party provider, wth the ultimate goal of growing a small team in order to deliver first class technology systems, solutions and support. Reporting into the C-Suite, the IT & Technology Director will have high accountability and implement forward-thinking and impactful initiatives and strategic decisions. They will also demonstrate an agile mindset and work effectively as part of a team, valuing everyone as an individual and bringing together groups at all levels and across multiple global offices to collaborate and develop IT and Technology solutions that ultimately enhance our productivity and performance.Responsibilities Strategic planning and implementation for the development of IT and Technology systems Management and coordination of IT projects and identifying future projects that will improve productivity and performance Management and technical engineering across Servers, Cloud based solutions and platforms, networks and backups Management of global procurement solutions, ensuring all office locations have an effective local partner in place that can deliver equipment on time and within budget Ensure an effective and efficient ‘helpdesk’ infrastructure is in place to support global offices and differing time zones Building, developing and managing a team as per the business needs Overviewing and developing IT Security policies and processes Effective partnership with Stagwell Tech’s shared IT function in terms of regulation and compliance Support with IT elements of new client RFPs Collaborative working with individuals at all levels of the organisation in order to understand both operational and strategic IT requirements, ensuring solutions are suitable for the business and it’s effective growth Supporting and facilitating an upcoming internal ‘replatforming’ project, which entails the launch of a new cloud-based platform connecting all our existing production tools, workflow management systems, and company databases. Contributing to the development of a tech strategy for the our Creative Adaptation and Production (CAP) team, involving some knowledge of project management and production automation solutions. Recommend a solution to the challenge of providing IT support to our Mexico-based team in a timely manner during local working hours. Work with the finance and operations leaders to ensure we have the most cost-effective solutions in place that work for all locations worldwide. Define annual strategies to improve existing models from a financial perspective without sacrificing delivery. Requirements Previous experience as an IT Director or Head of IT Highly organised and self motivated individual Excellent communication skills (in English), both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences Proven experience managing and developing a small team Previous experience of providing input into company decision making and influencing at a senior level Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach (able to consider the wider business implications of decisions) Cloud Knowledge IT Security best practice knowledge Stakeholder management experience; skilled at gaining buy-in from key stakeholders at all levels Ability to travel abroad as required Share our values We take content further We grow together Celebrating Individuality Doing good along the way With care D&I statementLocaria is global by nature and vastly strengthened by multicultural, international and eclectic teams.
