We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Invoicing Clerk for our Brampton, ON office.Responsibilities: Respond to customer requests & queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner. Coordinating with other departments to make sure all paper work is thoroughly managed. Assist accounting with invoices, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Review all carrier invoices rejected because of accrual miss-match. Assist and answer payroll related queries from employees Ensure processing of appropriate deductions, remittance and reporting requirements for deductions and benefits as required by legislation Provide continual process improvement within AR/AP to increase efficiency and workload capacity. Monitoring and analyzing expenses against the payroll budget to help prepare cost forecasts and budgets Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Preparing year-end employee tax slips or forms, and submitting government filings to meet deadlines Provide administrative support including generation of reports, presentations, policies and general correspondence documents. Prepare and submit weekly reports for internal review as well as per client requests. Other ad-hoc duties Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Post-secondary education with a focus on Compensation/Payroll or equivalent work experience would be considered as an asset. 1-2 years of administrative logistics and service experience is an asset. Previous experience working on QuickBooks, Sage300 and ADP will be considered an asset. Must have thorough knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable accounting policies, journal entries and accruals. Thorough knowledge of the payroll process including ROE and Pension would be considered as an asset. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly. Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
