We are looking for a Junior Controller with a passion for learning new things and a flexible mindset to take on financial responsibilities, including: Accounts payable and receivable: Your main priority will be to take care of our accounts payable and accounts receivable. We need your input to run these processes accurately. Assisting payroll and accounting tasks: We have external payroll and accounting partners, but your responsibility is to provide relevant and correct materials for our external partners on time. Reporting: You’ll also get to work with monthly reporting and perhaps develop our reporting in the future. Working in a growth company, we all wear many hats, and we may need your input in other areas besides financial tasks from time to time. There is a possibility to start in a part-time role, but we would need your full-time input between January and August 2024 while our CFO Tuomas is on parental leave. After his return, you can return to a part-time role or expand your full-time role with new responsibilities depending on your interests. What are we expecting from you? You have relevant studies and potentially some previous work experience in finance. Rather than being an expert, we are looking for the right growth mindset. As a person, you are flexible and can handle ever-changing growth company environment independent and punctual in your work humble and able to balance between multiple tasks willing to ask questions and learn the things you don’t know yet. You are fluent in English (our company language) and Finnish (some of our external partners require Finnish skills). Ideally, you are located in Helsinki, where we have our office with a bunch of colleagues to support you, but this job can also be done remotely. What is in it for you?
