THE OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Legal Specialist to our Legal team in Argentina! Reporting directly to the Senior Legal Manager Latam, the Legal Specialist is responsible for conducting all of the legal-related topics required for Gympass’ operation in Argentina and Chile. YOUR IMPACT Review, analysis and elaboration of medium-high complexity business contracts; Consultancy to internal clients (labor, civil, data privacy, commercial, regulatory/antitrust, intellectual property, immigration and fraud-related matters); Management of corporate law, with elaboration and review of corporate acts in general, such as Minutes of Ordinary and Extraordinary General Shareholders; Amendment of Articles of Incorporation, issuance of Power of Attorney, etc;Internal training of business and back office areas; Management of litigation and potential litigation issues with active participation in the structuring of the judicial and extrajudicial strategy of the cases. WHO YOU ARE Native Spanish-speaker resident in Buenos Aires; Fluent in written and spoken English; License to practice law in Argentina; Self-starter who is able to work independently, takes ownership of responsibilities and projects, is results-oriented and flexible.; Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced, complex business environment; Previous experience working with business contracts; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, work in a team environment, and solve problems creatively and efficiently;; Business-oriented with good negotiation skills; Excellent communication skills; Strong attention to detail and extensive ability to manage multiple tasks and different legal subjects; Portuguese is a plus; Preferably used to work in a startup environment and culture.
