A new age in healthcare technology has just begun.Our Managed Services team plays a critical role in proactive monitoring, ensuring the seamless operation of various domains, including applications, infrastructure, databases, and networks. Operating around the clock, our team utilizes a diverse range of tools such as SolarWinds, AppDynamics, SQL Server Native, and others, in conjunction with email and CRM systems like ServiceNow ITOM integration, to promptly address and resolve alerts. We collaborate closely with L2 teams, performing L1 activities for infrastructure alerts and adhering strictly to SOPs and runbooks. This is a hybrid role, occasionally requiring work from the office. Responsibilities: As an MS Systems Engineer - P2, you will: Proactive Monitoring: Participate in monitoring proactive alerts spanning applications, infrastructure, databases, and networks. Tool Utilization: Utilize a variety of tools including SolarWinds, OpsManager, AppDynamics, SQL Server Native, and more, alongside email and CRM systems like ServiceNow ITOM integration, for effective alert management. L1 Activities: Contribute to L1 activities associated with infrastructure alerts, including preliminary analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with L2 teams to escalate alerts requiring advanced technical expertise or additional assistance. SOP Adherence: Uphold the utmost adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for all clients. Process Compliance: Assist the team in following established processes and protocols, ensuring consistency and quality. Task Prioritization: Prioritize tasks by actively monitoring alert queues, ensuring timely responses and resolutions. On-Site Support: Occasionally work from the office, providing unwavering 24/7 support, including weekends. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging monitoring technologies to drive continuous improvement. Windows Administration: Possess basic knowledge of Windows Administration. Additional Responsibilities: In addition to the primary responsibilities, the MS Systems Engineer - P2 will: Shift Lead: Act as a shift lead, providing guidance and leadership to the team. Training: Perform training sessions for new team members. Roster Management: Work on roster scheduling to ensure smooth operations. Task Tracker: Create and maintain a task tracker for team assignments and progress tracking. Proactive Leadership: Take the lead in handling all escalations, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills. Cross-Training: Be open to cross-training on other technologies to enhance versatility and expertise. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a Managed Services setting. Familiarity with a variety of monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, OpsManager, AppDynamics, SQL Server Native, etc. Proficiency in utilizing email and CRM systems for alert management; familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM integration is a plus. Comprehensive understanding of proactive monitoring encompassing applications, infrastructure, databases, and networks. Knowledge of ITIL principles, specifically incident and problem management. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities required for addressing intricate technical challenges. Effective communication skills enabling collaboration across diverse teams and the delivery of clear instructions. Meticulous attention to detail ensuring strict adherence to established SOPs and runbooks. Flexibility in working in a 24x7 setting, including weekends, and occasional work from the office.
