The Role As a Product Strategist, you will be responsible for the set-up/maintenance/enhancement of Product Framework for Wealth and Retail clients. You will also create product roadmaps and ensure that investment products are current and competitive. You will also set-up and maintain relationships with other financial institutions to increase diversity of investment products available. How you'll contribute Business Acumen Coordinates with the various internal and external units to obtain market information in to enhance and develop competitive investment products. Explains and educates the wealth management team and clients the various features, benefits, and risks of the different investment products Establishes relationships with other financial institutions to make new investment products available. Needs Analysis and Solution Matching Engages with investment strategist and investment advisors to ensure that products are current and competitive. Makes available products that are in line with market view. Makes available products that are not available in-house. Shares market trends, product knowledge and ideas with Investment Advisors to Wealth Managers to be able to provide sound advice for customers. Stays up to date with regulations, internal policies, and market trends. Product training for Investment Advisors and Wealth Managers. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Computer Science or any related field. At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a detail-oriented financial role. With Treasury Certification, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Certification, CUSP (Certified UITF Salesperson), Mutual Fund Certification and other Certifications and Licenses required to distribute covered products: Preferred but not required Must have understanding of Financial Markets - rates & credit markets, macro-economics. Portfolio Management and Financial Planning. Knowledge of pertinent regulations. Must have the ability to effectively articulate strategies and ideas to Investment Advisors and Wealth Managers and to clients in a clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively with all levels of the Bank including external parties and customers. Must have the ability to help the unit attain income & volume targets. Must have good communication & presentation skills. Must have a strong understanding of product life cycle #LI-MH1 #LI-Hybrid
