We are looking for a People and Culture Administrator to join our people team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful People and Culture Administrator will have prior experience in a comparable setting and will collaborate closely with the People and Culture team to ensure the efficient operation of all aspects of people-related practices and procedures.Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent and treat diseases. We are a charity, supported by the UK Government, in partnership with charities and industry. We work closely with the NHS and with public authorities across all nations and regions of the UK. Our plan is to bring together 5 million volunteers from right across the UK who will be asked to contribute information to help build one of the most detailed pictures we have ever had of people’s health. Researchers will be able to use this information to make new discoveries about human health and diseases. So future generations can live in good health for longer. What you’ll be doingAs part of a rapidly expanding organisation, it is crucial for you to possess the willingness and enthusiasm to actively engage in a broad range of tasks and challenges. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provide support covering the whole employee lifecycle Complete HR Administration tasks, such as: processing new starters, checking returns of Right to Work, DBS and references for all new hires, salary changes and terminations, including offer letters, contracts of employment, amendment to contracts and leavers. Ownership of the people and culture inbox, signposting them to documents or to members of the people and culture team. Assist in the development and maintenance of administrative systems and procedures. Maintaining and updating employee files. Keeping our organisational chart up to date. Completing ad-hoc requests from both the people team and wider organisation. Support with monthly payroll submission. Provide accurate and timely data/information to key stakeholders. Assisting the People and Culture team with HR projects where required. Build effective working relationships across the business. RequirementsTo succeed, you will have some of the following skills and experience: At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within an HR team. Ability to work independently with the willingness to take responsibility for outcomes, but also the ability to judge when to ask for guidance. Ability to work collaboratively with people, demonstrating flexibility in style and approach to changing demands. Discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to listen. Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven organisational and time management skills. Good knowledge of MS Office. Any additional training or certification i.e CIPD, will be considered an advantage. Benefits Up to £28,000 per annum basic salary.
