An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager responsible for overseeing and optimising the procurement processes at Aegros. In this role you will work on the timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, equipment, and services essential to our research, development, and manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, managing supplier relationships, and implementing procurement strategies that align with our company's objectives.What you will be involved in……… Researching and identifying new materials, equipment, and services that align with the company's needs and strategic direction Developing and executing procurement strategies covering cost reduction, supplier diversity, and sustainability initiatives Establish strong and collaborative relationships with key suppliers while ensuring the meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements Negotiating and finalizing procurement contracts, terms, and conditions, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards Continuously monitoring market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in procurement processes Managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence Collaborating with internal departments, including Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, manufacturing, and finance, to align procurement strategies Establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement operations, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover Managing and reporting on the procurement budget, ensuring cost control and transparency. RequirementsYou will bring... A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry Strong negotiation and contract management skills In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and industry trends Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in procurement software and tools Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
