The Role As a Sales Strategist, you will strategize plans to grow the volume and P&L from investments products. You will also track the performance of investments products and performance investment counselors. You will also be tasked to increase distribution of investment products across wealth management. How you'll contribute Business Acumen Generates strategies for Group to achieve/surpass volume and income targets. Develop and implement sales plans and strategies. Initiate and implement annual sales plans, including monitoring of actual performance vis-à-vis the budget and action plans to achieve / surpass income target. Coordinates and works closely with Department Heads to achieve targets. Work closely with Product Officers to develop products and look for business opportunities. Financial Markets Analysis Drives and cascades to the investment counselors the strategies based on market developments geared towards customer engagement and sales conversion. Provides feedback to the Product Team so that the bank’s product offerings are competitive and relevant. Customer Centricity Formulates marketing plans and strategies that will guide the unit in attaining the Team’s financial and customer targets (e.g., increase in number of customers, customer penetration, etc.). Conducts visits, calls, marketing presentations, product briefings with team members to solicit new (big) clients and deepen (big) client relationships. Conceptualizes and develops marketing materials and campaigns to introduce, promote or enhance awareness for investment products and services, in coordination with WM. Needs Analysis and Solution Matching Coaches and mentors investment counselors on market trends, product knowledge, portfolio allocation and portfolio rebalancing to be able to provide sound advice for customers. Ensure that transactions comply with regulations, internal policies and procedures and are within prescribed limits. Oversees the training and development needs of the officers and staff of the unit What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Computer Science or any related field. At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a detail-oriented financial role. With Treasury Certification, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Certification, CUSP (Certified UITF Salesperson), Mutual Fund Certification and other Certifications and Licenses to distribute covered products: Preferred but not required Must have understanding of Financial Markets - rates & credit markets, macro-economics. Portfolio Management and Financial Planning. Knowledge of pertinent regulations. Must have the ability to anticipate market developments to be able to craft a sound investment strategy. Must be able to effectively articulate ideas to Departments Heads (and Investment Counselors) and Product Officers in a clear and concise manner. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the Bank including external parties and customers. Must have knowledge and understanding in interdependent relationship between the different product providers, Branch Banking Group, and Wealth Management Group. Must develop good relationships with Department Heads/Investment Advisors, Product Officers and Wealth Managers. Must have communication & presentation skills. Must be able to craft investment strategy that is timely and relevant to the WMs and customers. Said strategy must result to additional volume and/or profitability for the Bank. #LI-MH1 #LI-Hybrid
