The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving adoption, pipeline and revenue growth for MongoDB products through an integrated field marketing plan in your region. You’ll target both enterprise and corporate accounts as well as specific verticals by running field programs to fill the funnel and accelerate deals to close. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and executing events, field marketing, and account based marketing programs that support acquisition, demand generation and or accelerating existing opportunities. You’ll partner with the sales and partner organization, account-based marketing, partner marketing, and demand generation teams to translate the Go To Market strategy into a full funnel marketing plan to help to meet growth targets. You are a data and results driven marketer, a team player, and able to roll up your sleeves and get the job done! The role will report into the Field Marketing Director, North Pacific Rim. Candidate Profile Our ideal candidate for this role will have the following 7+ years experience in Field Marketing with account management, event and marketing experience in a technology company Demonstration of a metrics-driven approach to success and can show Return on Investment (ROI) by tracking results from funded/co-marketing activity against budget A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced and high growth environment with the ability to prioritize, pivot and problem-solve A self-starter who possesses a growth mindset to help define the ambiguities to support a high growth organization A strategic thinker who can find a balance between translating a business strategy into a marketing plan and seeing through the execution of the marketing plan and delivering against the set metrics Excellent written and oral communications skills in English, Cantonese and Traditional Chinese Eloqua/Salesforce/Wrike experience a plus Position Expectations A strong and credible business and marketing partner to the Regional Vice President, Regional Directors and Account Executives, with the ability to translate the needs of the business into a marketing plan for the region A strong understanding of B2B and persona-based marketing, with a strong grasp of B2B buyers’ decision making process and the B2B buyer and builder personas. Preferably he or she has some experience in conducting or leveraging 3rd party market research to understand buyers’ behavior A strong collaborator with the ability to take a programmatic approach to build an integrated marketing field plan. He or she should have a good understanding of the levers to work with and the ability to leverage the broader field marketing teams - partner marketing, global events, ABM programs, content marketing, product marketing, communications and digital marketing to scale and drive successes in his or her region An effective communicator to the sales team and keep them updated on all planned marketing activities including global, regional, and local programs Work with the global events team to bring flagship events into the region, and ensure sellers leverage these events to drive customers’ engagement Lead joint partner marketing planning with the partners (GSI/ SI, Cloud partners, ISV) to identify co-marketing activities that are aligned and support the field marketing plan Ensure performance and ROI are tracked, and supporting processes set up to effectively measure outcomes 30% travel to Taiwan when required Success Measures The Field Marketing Manager will be successful in this role when they can execute the following strategic tasks/responsibilities In 3 months you’ll have fostered a relationship with your RVP, Regional Directors, Account Executives, understand their top target accounts, and begin planning field marketing opportunities In 6 months you’ll have a clear understanding of your key objectives, have executed on pipeline generating campaigns , and supported with Global marketing campaigns In 12 months you’ll have fostered relationship across internal MongoDB teams and have executed both strategic and scalable ABM programs, co-produced partner events leveraging the MongoDB partnership ecosystem, created an integrated plan in region, maintain flawless documentation and reporting of all programs to ensure success, and constantly strive for improvement and optimisation of your field marketing plan To drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone.
