Strategic Account Manager We are a fun, trusted, innovative and tech-enabled language services company.The experienced Strategic Account Manager candidate will be responsible for identifying our key customers, analyzing customer needs and generating maximum revenue and profitability. He/she will be responsible for generating new business opportunities to develop profitable and enduring business relationships with new and existing clients. She/He will also manage the lifecycle and growth of contracts in over 100 languages for the following services: over-the-phone interpreting, video remote interpreting, on-site interpreting (including American Sign Language), translation, transcription, subtitling, others. You must be comfortable and effective with prospecting, telephonic outreach, and personal meetings over video, phone and in person. The Strategic Account Manager will accomplish business development activities by performing customer success teams plans with long-term and short term in mind with the help of the use of daily, weekly, and monthly goal tracking.Who we are: Homeland Language Services has over 7 years of experience developing interactive solutions for a variety of industries including customer service, legal, healthcare, schools, and government, providing high quality over-the-phone interpreting (OPI), video remote interpreting (VRI), on-site interpretation & translation services.We provide services in over 100 languages. Due to steady and ongoing growth, we are now looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager in interpretation and translation to expand our U.S. and international client base and market.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze budgets, prepare quarterly, monthly and annual reports, forecasts and business plansManage our key accounts portfolioStablish strong, long-term client relationshipsSuggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needsEncourages Customers to Upgrade or add new productsHandle complaints and problems in a timely and effective mannerAct as a liaison between key customers and internal teams/departmentsIdentify and approach new potential strategic customersPromote the value of all existing and new servicesMonitor sales performance metricsAssisting in creating training courses and educational materialsSustain business growth and profitability by maximizing valueImprove onboarding processWork closely with our Vice President, sales team, Key Vendor Manager, and marketing teamSet and achieve sales goals, by connecting with new/existing clients to develop business, through telephonic outreach, marketing campaigns, market research, heavy RFP responseWork with various Procurement and Purchasing Department RepresentativesAttend sales and marketing meetings, sales calls and prepare RFP responsesTake a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry, business needs and company cultureProfessional Qualifications and Experience: Progressive sales experience selling within the translation/interpretation/localization services into customer services, legal and healthcare organizations (1-3 years) within the government or private sectorsStrong data and analytical skillsProfessional writing skills for Proposals, RFPs, Quotes, and Customer CommunicationPeople Management and leadership skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt in a growing environmentProven work experience as a Customer Success Manager or similar roleKey Account and Sales Management skillsExperience in managing a diverse group and training each according to company standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Highly organized and multi-taskCommunications or Marketing degree is a plusProficiency in Sales CRM software, reporting.
