What you’ll do In a few words… Abarca is igniting a revolution in healthcare. Within Talent Strategy, this role sits within our Talent Learning & Development team, building and supporting professional growth paths and opportunities that lead to high performance, productivity, and goal actualization. The Talent Performance Lead is responsible for identifying, designing, developing, delivering, and following up on Learning & Development initiatives that reinforce excellence and a growth mindset in Abarca. You will develop efficient practices and strategies that maximize employee performance and support their development. You will contribute to the creation of organizational objectives and regularly review and assess ongoing performance management processes to evaluate whether they support employee performance and contribute to Abarca’s overarching business goals. You will support the Director of Talent Development and Experience to implement and manage Abarca’s performance and calibration processes, career paths, and succession plans. You will assist our leadership training and new-hire onboarding process, by suggesting and implementing better ways to prepare employees and new hires for Abarca’s growth process. The fundamentals for the job… Manage Abarca’s end-to-end growth process (performance assessments and calibration), including the management of software used to execute them. Implement and continuously improve performance processes to support Abarca’s strategic objectives and promote an environment where employees can grow and succeed. Support the development and implementation of career paths. Support the development and implementation of new tools to develop our talent through programs like succession planning. Update and share performance assessment process records, and design and develop reporting dashboard. Design and review policies related to employee performance. Establish a two-way communication channel to receive employee feedback and modify development policies and standards accordingly. Work with Talent Learning & Development Director and other stakeholders to enhance a culture of high performance and growth. Builds and sustains strong relationships with HRBPs to generate a deep understanding of business demands and facilitate partnerships that enable successful employee performance outcomes. What we expect of you The bold requirements… Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development or similar field. (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.) 6+ years of experience managing performance and calibration processes. Experience providing training and development to managers on performance and calibration processes best practices. Experience with the implementation of career paths and succession plans. Experience with interpreting cross-functional performance data and statistics. Experience directly or indirectly managing junior team members. Business acumen and a proven ability to effectively manage time and lead multiple projects at the same time. Excellent oral and written communication skills. We are proud to offer a flexible hybrid work model which will require certain on-site workdays (Puerto Rico Location Only). Nice to haves… Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management, Health Care, and Insurance industries. Physical requirements… Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
