As a member of the Digital Leadership Team, the Vice President of Media Monetization, you will be responsible for leading and driving the monetization strategies and initiatives related to media assets within the DFI Digital. You will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of revenue generation strategies across various media channels and platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing key partnerships, and staying abreast of industry trends to maximize the organization's media revenue potential.Requirements Develop and execute the overall media monetization strategy, aligning it with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify and explore new revenue streams and business models to drive media monetization efforts, including advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, subscriptions, and other innovative approaches. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective pricing models, packages, and promotional strategies to optimize media revenue. Lead the negotiation and management of strategic partnerships with advertising agencies, brands, content creators, and other relevant stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to identify new monetization opportunities and stay competitive in the media landscape. Analyze data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of media monetization strategies and initiatives. Use insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize revenue generation. Work closely with the technology and data analytics teams to leverage advanced tools and platforms for targeting, personalization, and optimization of media monetization efforts. Collaborate with the content and production teams to ensure that media assets are optimized for monetization opportunities without compromising the user experience. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals involved in media monetization, including setting goals, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective execution of strategies. Monitor industry regulations and compliance requirements related to media monetization, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards. Benefits Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in media monetization, advertising, or revenue generation roles, preferably with a focus on e-commerce and digital media platforms. In-depth knowledge of media monetization strategies, advertising models, and revenue optimization techniques across various channels, including digital, print, broadcast, and social media. Strong understanding of the media landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies impacting media monetization. Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing strategic partnerships with advertising agencies, brands, and other stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and key performance metrics to drive revenue optimization. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and deliver results. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
